From the 1st of January, this website incorporates the stock of three companies who are working together to provide a comprehensive service for the supply of Indian books - Soma Books Ltd., Maxim Books UK Ltd., and Shalimar Books Ltd.
Together, we represent the best of Indian publishing, the third largest publisher of books in English in the world.
Between us, we stock most of the major publishers, and many of the smaller ones; if you do not see what you need on the site, please use the Contact Us page to let us know your requirements, and we will get straight back to you.
We represent over forty years of experience in the Indian book trade, and supply books all over the world.
If you would like to receive regular information on new titles received, please register and sign up for our newsletter.
Books will be supplied to organisations, local authorities, university libraries etc. on 30 days terms; individuals will be sent a proforma invoice.
Trade customers
We supply to the trade. Trade customers may order through the website or by any other means convenient. If teleordering, please use our mnemonic IPUBCO. Invoicing will be through our central distributor, Maxim Books UK.
For UK trade customers, please contact us if you would like a representative to visit you.
As with individual customers, we would be happy to send our newsletter of new titles.
